AANHPI (Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander) Heritage Month is observed in the month of May. It recognizes the contributions and influence of Asian Americans and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States. I wanted to approach this project with a fresh look that appeals to young generations of AANHPI descent. Many prominent figures have made an impact that people may not know about. With my concepts, I wanted to include images of these figures splashed with design and graphic elements that represent their culture.
